Omokhai Imoukhuede

About Dr. Omokhai -Ministry

Dr. Omokhai’s time in ministry spans over 25 years. Dr. Omokhai Imoukhuede currently serves as the Resident Pastor at the  CityLight International Assembly, Chicago southside campus.  He also serves as a facilitator for the CityLights’ Leadership Development Program (Leading Lights) and oversees general operations of the CityLights’ church under the guidance of the Lead Pastors Dr Gregory Lan and Debo Ijiwola. Pastor Mo as he is fondly called also oversees the small group fellowships, which focuses on building community, strength and support systems within the church.

Prior to this and as one of the founding members of the CityLight Church, served in various capacities, ranging from worship director, technical director and associate pastor. Dr Omokhai attributes this passion for service in God’s kingdom to his encounter with God at the age of 13 at a meeting led by Evangelist Reinhart Bonnke of blessed memory in Warri Nigeria. 

Dr. Omokhai’s service in the kingdom continued right after the encounter as he would later became the President of the Christian Union Fellowship as well as the President of the Protestant Body in his High School.  Prior to his admission into college (University), Dr. Omokhai also served as the president of F.E.C.A (Federal Ex-Students Christian Association) a position he held for 3 years. 

Dr Omokhai continues to minister and encourage others through his weekly prayer meeting “Alive in Prayer” and other outlets.

Dr Omokhai Imoukhuede is married to Osen who serves along with him at the CityLight International Church. They are blessed with four children Alina, Sophia, Hannah and Jeremiah-Stephen.
